The band featured Billy Bob Brockali on bass and vocals, Looney Bird on vocals, Dook LaRue on drums and vocals, Fatz Geronimo on keyboards and vocals, Beach Bear on guitar and vocals, and Mitzi Mozzarella on vocals. In 1982, The Rock-afire Explosion released their debut album, titled Gee, Our 1st Album!
