This Breakfast Club t-shirt features an illustrated image of John Bender, the bad boy of the group of students who spent a Saturday in detention. On a Saturday, March 24, 1984, five students at the fictional Shermer High School report at 7:00 am for all-day detention. These students included "the princess" Claire, "the jock" Andrew, "the brain" Brian, "the basket case" Allison, and "the criminal" John. John Bender began detention by hating everyone around him. As each student revealed their innermost thoughts to each other, Bender began to grow closer to each of the other students, and even fell in love with Claire!
